This Donegal Gaeltacht school is losing its Irish voice. Only 1 of 20 younger students are Irish. The school is failing to maintain its cultural and linguistic identity amid demographic changes.

Without urgent action, Ireland's language and culture risk disappearing—right in its heartland.

Parents may not send children to the school if nobody there can speak Irish or English. This undermines local linguistic or cultural cohesion?
