@jk_rowling I’m not sure what is worse - paying someone $200+k for their PTSD from having sex with you, or signing an NDA and accepting money rather than revealing abuse? Genuinely dumbfounded by it all.
@MayorWayneBrown There is that madness all over the central city suburbs too. Surely you can stop this and have some of it undone? Someone is having a laugh!
@patrickgowernz I’ve been following him for about a year and everything he says makes perfect sense to me. Why he isn’t the leading candidate is a mystery.
Three statements were issued late yesterday by the State Services Commissioner, the Health Minister, and the Pharmac Chair in response to the behaviour of senior public servants at Pharmac.
Peter Hughes, Steve Maharey and Ayesha Verrall have described the behaviour as “unacceptable”. However, written statements will not fix Pharmac’s broken culture, or make this issue go away.
It requires political leadership and a willingness to disrupt and reform Pharmac – for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
I challenge Hughes, Maharey, and Verrall to view this behaviour through the eyes of the public they serve. In particular, they should be concerned by Sarah Fitt’s dismissive nature to cancer patients, and her culture of ‘push back’ against being questioned or held to account.
This is not what good governance looks like.

@LeahPanapa@jacktame@chrisluxonmp@NZQandA We just have so many more critical issues to discuss. This tabloid type questioning detracts from what really matters to Kiwis. Do better.
