STAR WARS: THE EXPERIENCE - A JOURNEY THROUGH THE GALAXY is a world premiere exhibition opening at The Franklin Institute on February 13, 2027 and will tour the U.S. for 5 years after premiering in Philadelphia.
The exhibit offers a close look at legendary screen-used pieces, interconnected galleries, large immersive moments, and an RFID-powered experience for an interactive, personalized, and cinematic journey into the creative force behind Star Wars.
Tickets are on sale in November.

North Carolina's budget is being sent to Governor Josh Stein. The Senate passed the budget 35-10. South Mecklenburg State Senator Woodson Bradley (D) voted in favor of the budget. All other Meck Dems voted no. Senator Mohammed was absent today but voted no yesterday.
The North Carolina House passed the budget in a final vote of 88-21. It was a bipartisan vote. All Mecklenburg County Democrats voted no, except for Rep. Helfrich. She was absent today. But she voted no on second reading.
Unaffiliated Reps. Majeed and Cunningham voted in favor.
The Senate needs to take one more vote and then the budget is off to Gov. Stein

The Department of Education announced Thursday it will temporarily drop interest rates on federal student loans starting July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.
