7 days post clot and my lovely Theo is still alive! ❤️😭 He can use his leg again and, with a lot of medication and pt, he's back to his curious and cuddly self. We don't know yet the damages to his heart or his thyroid. But I cherish each day 🙏🏼❤️😭

@cat22t Thank you. My husband is playing the piano for him and I moved my home office to the main floor to be closer to him. We want to keep him happy as long as possible.

My wonderful cat was diagnosed with F.A.T.E. If you know, you know. We are keeping him happy and comfortable as long as possible but I would appreciate any advice about end of life and grieving a pet that is your whole world.
He's the best boy that ever was.

@MeesSiameseCat2 @cat22t We are on day 4 post clot and he is walking on it a bit. He was still dragging it yesterday (no proprioception). I'm cautiously hopeful.

@MeesSiameseCat2 @cat22t Hi, he is currently on an anti clotting medicine, but it's to prevent another clot, not dissolve the one he has. Since only one paw is affected the vet thinks it's a "small" clot. We are massaging his leg a few times a day and keeping it warm.

@_Julie_Walker_ If your cat is on the older side, please do blood test to check their thyroid. My boy had undiagnosed hyperthyroidism that caused a heart murmur...which caused the clot. He had no symptoms until the clot 💔 I don't know how to cope

Today was my first violin recital! I've been learning for 6 months 🎻❤️

Accountability post: day 62. That's it! I did it! Wrote 1 287 words today and FINISHED my first draft of my novella! 😭🥳 30 071 words!!

It's my longest story since my TBI! I wasn't even sure I could write again! 17 months after my injury, I feel like a writer again ❤️✍️
