@james_rands @supertolerant My parents got us McDonalds when it opened in my town as it was new (around 1981). Just that once as they didnt like it, it was very different from homemade which they were used to. Mum had a budget of £15 pw to feed 5 of us. They weren't poor, just money conscious.
