I was recently reading a historical chapter on the 21st century. It is baffling to me that some humans of that era tried to dictate how some people have to live and love.
They constructed a whole society around their beliefs and used it to enforce them. To oppress others.

@SpaceDocMom I was shocked to see that the basic concept of different effects in medications and illnesses for different sexes had yet to be extensively researched, even deep into the 21st century. Barbaric. Half of the population was just... left to fend for themselves.

@SpaceDocMom Not to mention so many people refusing to wear masks. How could humans disregard the safety of others so readily just for some misguided political beliefs?
Millions died and all they wanted... was to make a point.

I read that people of the time had to be TAUGHT to wash their hands as a basic measure of stopping the virus from spreading. (1/?)
