@IGAD_CPAC & @AGRA are epitome of meaningful youth involvement,my take away from the youth climate leadership & advocacy training is that climate policy is strongest when science, research, governance, finance, inclusivity, implementation & accountability are interconnected.

Completing the SMART Advocacy Training & analysing the Gender and Equity Bill 2026 has been both reflective and empowering. It has strengthened my understanding of advocacy and challenged me to think more critically about gender, equity, policy & the communities we advocate for

Western Kenya County Coordinators came together to strengthen and consolidate referral pathways for survivors of GBV, while developing clear, communityled strategies to end femicide.
We are moving from crisis response to prevention, accountability and action.

Day 2 take away #GreenWorks4Africa is how we really have good policies yet we still have a huge gap between what's written on paper and what actually happens on the ground. Implementation needs intentionality and finance while being multidimensional.#DOTClimate #DOTYouth #JLA
