@CityNewsVAN I can actually say it’s absolutely true because my kid was taken by police out of town when they were trying to self admit to the hospital for psychiatric help. They were assumed to be homeless and after three rejections, they had the police drive them out of town to Abbotsford.

@pooplius@tomgreenlive@Swift_Canoe So what?! You think you can decide someone is less Canadian somehow because they travel or have careers that take them to other places?! It’s fucking weird, dude.
@MbarkCherguia Anybody criticizing a person for simply getting older…Damn it’s gonna be a sad day when you get there (if you are given that gift).
I love that she’s still doing what she loves & brings her full energy to it! She’s got more moves in Her bones than I do and I am 30 yrs younger!
@OliLondonTV What’s so shocking about this? I’ve never seen the man with a shirt on and the fact that he’s still able to do what he loves and is still here; I’m sure he loves performing. You cannot take the performer off the stage and some people do it to the day they die.
@SamanthaTaghoy@Laurieluvsmolly I didn’t hear it as her trying to include them in with sexuality or gender. I think she was referring to both groups as being victims of a higher rate of murder & suicide when she speaks of genocide. I could be wrong but that’s how I took it. All groups mentioned are targeted rn
@aquariaofficial I think Boy George was trying to offer this person some advice as a person who knows fame very well. I don’t know BG personally but I know that he’s gone through a lot of hard times and struggles with fame and anxiety and attention. I see nothing wrong with offering advice
@tomgreenlive That’s only a matter of time when things that were once mainstream become a cool gimmick or throwback.
It’s crazy the amount of posts I see from younger generations, not understanding things like an entire family sharing one phone number. Not knowing who’s calling. 😂
#VPDNews: Vancouver Police are making people aware of a unique method that thieves are using to break in to homes.
Between August 9 and December 24, 2025, ten apartment units spread across five residential apartment buildings in Vancouver, and one building in Burnaby, were targeted.
“The suspects would gain entry into the building during the middle of the night and apply hot glue in the top corner of apartment unit doors, stretching it between the door and the frame,” says VPD Property Crime Sergeant Stan Dy. “When building residents returned home and opened the door, the strand of glue was broken. If the residents were away, the strand of glue stayed intact, indicating that no one was home. The suspects then returned within a few days and broke into suites that had intact glue.”
It is believed that the suspects targeted older apartment buildings with limited security measures. which may include insecure stairwell doors or buildings that lack security cameras.
Similar cases involving suspects using glue on unit doors through apartment buildings have been reported in Ontario and Edmonton.
VPD investigators are asking anybody with information to call the Vancouver Police Property Crime tip line at 604-717-0610.
