@WOUNDEDSTORY Wil smiled approvingly, before approaching the bar himself. A drink—a martini of some kind, with a little pink umbrella sticking out of it—was slid down the counter. He caught it with a hand. “I just ask for the usual.”
@WOUNDEDSTORY “Promise, shromise. Come oooonnn,” wrapping an arm around his neck, and grinning! Yay! “I *promise* it’ll be a good time! And I, for one, keep my promises.”
@WOUNDEDSTORY “The M- ahhh. THAT’s where I know you from!”
He pointed, semi-accusingly, at the defective. “ABE! It really IS you! God, man, you’re looking a bit pale. Try and relax,
will you? Now, as for that manor business — I’m not sure that’s a good idea… (It’s sad that I’M saying that).”
@WOUNDEDSTORY "WHAAAT? NOOo, noo no, I would never do such a- terrible, horrible thing!" ...He murmured, "and, to tell you the truth, that /really/ doesn't narrow it down, Dave. Anyway!" Clapping his hands together- "How can I assist you, dear friend?"
@WOUNDEDSTORY ...Turning to face him with an unchanged expression. "Oooh, of couuuuurse! Say, do I know you? Hold on a tick." Snapping, and- oh okay, there goes the former D.A. "There we go! Little more private."
The question made it pause, and then - the entity chuckled. A quiet sound, low.
Dark shook his head,
“No, nothing like that, Will .”
Another fleeting memory came, and once again - they pushed it away.
“Just .. close friends, like you've said.”
…Something warm birthed from Wil’s chest. What was it? Indescribably familiar, and yet, fluttering like a bird…
He seemed lost for a moment, professing what Dark had said - hand on Dark’s shoulder growing a bit stiff. Then, blinking.
“Did we date at some point?”
