Cancer patients can’t wait for cures. Reports of a proposed new layer of review over @NIH grants raise serious concerns about delays to lifesaving #CancerResearch. Decisions about research funding must be guided by science and evidence—not politics. https://t.co/pDYbOwzw0V

Today @ACSCAN is celebrating its 25th birthday! All we've accomplished has been possible because of countless advocates, colleagues and volunteers who've made a tremendous impact on the lives of millions of people through public policy advocacy. https://t.co/7Cfhw1bAYH
Preserving strong childhood immunization systems is critical to protecting public health and safeguarding progress against cancer. @ACSCAN is concerned yesterday's executive order could create confusion for families and weaken public health. https://t.co/VdCis97wSX…

The @FDATobacco just authorized four new flavored nicotine pouches, compromising the fight against cancer & threatening to sustain youth nicotine use.
In the U.S., one-third of all cancer deaths are a result of tobacco use, and tobacco is the leading cause of preventable death.
This new policy risks reversing decades of hard-fought progress in reducing youth tobacco use, which we've fought for tirelessly. As organizations and individuals committed to protecting the health of America’s young people, we cannot allow this to happen.
A new FDA policy allows e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches—including kid-friendly flavors—to be sold without the scientific review and marketing authorization required by law. This threatens our hard-won progress reducing youth tobacco use.
