#WAMSC were out on patrol with their PC Co-Ordinator in 2 cars on a burglary op last night. The vehicle below failed to stop for us and led us on a pursuit across W. London. Driver arrested for Theft MV, Possession Weapon, Disqual Driving & Drugs. Passenger also arrested.

Thinking of our @DyfedPowys colleagues this evening after the sudden and tragic passing of Inspector Gareth Earp on his way home from work yesterday.

@TheResponseCop @CollegeofPolice Should be a 3 day add on course to response for covert driving. There is an advanced option but the 3 day add on would be sufficient if the car isn’t an advanced.

@specials_101 @sc_survey I think this is negated by having a criteria for eligibility; minimum service in line with regs, achieved IP status and recommended by line manager. As with all specials there's a business case that is investing 1k+ in a taser course a good ROI for someone who only does 16hrs...
