The papers we use are all FSC certified from trust paper mills, the inks are vegetable-based and the wooden stoppers are sustainably sourced.

Inspired by the Old Tom gins of 18th century London our Old Tom is slightly lower in ABV to our classic Dodd’s Gin so we naturally sweeten it in the distillation using liquorice root.

1 of the 20 botanicals in our Explorers’ Strength Gin is cubeb pepper. Found in Java and Sumatra cubeb (“tailed pepper”) has a rich and full flavour that’s somewhere in-between allspice and black pepper.

#OldTom was a popular style of #gin consumed in the early 1800s and was sweeter than its London dry counterpart. Our slightly sweet Dodd's Old Tom Organic gin is a nod to the traditional 'Old Tom' styles. No sugar is added, rather the sweetness comes from the use of liquorice.
