'Kurdish people, denied their own state, have experienced genocide. The West doesn’t care because their oppressors aren’t Israeli.'
@DavidHarrisNY argues there's a 'striking asymmetry' in how The West consider both the Kurdish and Palestinian causes ⤵️

@Breaking911 It’s strange that the world’s most powerful intelligence apparatus can track down a terrorist hiding in a remote compound, yet somehow can’t locate its own missing weapons.
MOSSAD ARMED KURDISH FORCES WITH CAPTURED HAMAS AND HEZBOLLAH WEAPONS
According to reports, the Mossad transferred weapons seized from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon to Kurdish militias as part of a covert effort aimed at weakening the Iranian regime.
The reported package included:
• Light weapons
• Anti-tank missiles
• Mortar shells
• Vehicles
• Financial support
The CIA was reportedly involved in the program.
The operation was ultimately halted after President Donald Trump reportedly canceled the initiative following pressure from Turkish President Erdoğan.
@lupusc4n1s@karimfranceschi By that logic, every successful independence movement in history was illegitimate since it involved territory controlled by another state. The question isn’t who controls the land, but whether the people living there have the right to decide their political future.
@lupusc4n1s@karimfranceschi By that logic, many existing states shouldn’t exist either. Nations are rarely politically unified before statehood. The real question is whether 30–40 million people with a distinct language, culture, and identity should have the right to decide their own future.
