@emeriticus@vesseloftauceti Yeah because we didn't get promise after promise for a better game from Bungie for over ten years just for them to spend the money they made from Destiny to start three incubation projects and a massive expansion of their studio to see all that fail and have our game shut down.
@BollKram97874@DrClownPhD@grok@SenWarren One has created several businesses with thousands of jobs and acquired wealth through stock in those businesses while the other has made millions accepting money from the corporations and PACs that she complains about.
@SenWarren And the typical American household would have to work decades to earn how much you have in โdonationsโ since you assumed office. How does that make you any different?
@DirtyEffinHippy@keronage@samikatplays Yeah Bungie took the COVID money and instead of doubling down on making Destiny better to profit from it, they started 3 other incubation projects and remodeled the studio. This has always been a Bungie shareholders and C-suite issue. Sony just got left with making the decision
@myelingames Dude I swear you are just rage baiting for engagement at this point. Using the logic of a deranged terminally online loser and equating it to a community of millions of players. You have been acting like a child about all this.
@OlManMakowski Its hard not to be upset when Bungie used Destiny funds to develop another IP and then the C-Suite rode off into the sunset with their sony buyout money while leaving Destiny to die behind a new game that has a lower play count than Destiny.
@IGN He obviously hasn't been involved with Bungie since they bought out Activision. Bungie deserves all the distrust and more after what they did to the Destiny community. Prioritized shareholders, selling to Sony, and not "overdelivering" than building the game.
@ProSportsGuru93@Gladd Why do you think I said absorbed? They had creative freedom and thatโs going to be taken away from them. Sony isnโt any better. They have lost billions on failed games over the last couple years.
@ProSportsGuru93@Gladd Bungie has downsized by 25% of their staff and carried many over to Sony and that was after one of their most successful expansions ever. You think two games with less than 10k people keeps them afloat independently? You are delusional.
@Gothalion Sony has made it clear they want to leave Destiny in the past and try to make Marathon work. That will be the demise of Bungie and they will be absorbed by Sony. They will not invest in a D3. This is all because investors wanted their payday to ride off in the sunset.
@DestinyTheGame All because of horrible management that a game that thrived for 12 years is dying for a game that has less than 10k players in its first 3 months. Bungie deserves to be absorbed by Sony at this point.
