Our teammate, Michelle Alexander, finally received the samples for bone isotope analysis from our own archaeological excavations or from our partners. Show must go on!

Final day of excavation in Atienza (Guadalajara). Trench 1, containing silos in the outer ward of the castle, is finished. Our team, in a very cold morning, is just figuring out the sequence of events in Trench 2, drawing the profiles and collecting micromorphology samples.

Our team continues to excavate the impressive fortification of Atienza (Guadalajara, Spain), where a long-term occupation is being defined.
