➺ Turning conviction into a position

PUNCH is a trading application with its own prediction-market exchange on ONEchain.

The idea is straightforward:

Have a market view → find the market → take a position.

You can trade short-duration Up/Down markets, or explore event and longer-duration markets across areas like crypto, stocks, commodities, sports and esports when available.

But the short-duration side is where things get interesting.

There are two ways to approach the move:

Normal ➥ the starting price is already known, and you trade whether the asset finishes Up or Down before the round ends.

NEXT ➥ you take a position on the upcoming round before its starting price is known. Once that round begins, trading locks and the market resolves after the round ends.

So you're not making exactly the same decision twice.

With Normal:

“Where does this move finish?”

With NEXT:

“What do I think happens next?”

Simple distinction. Different way to express conviction.
