Every Gen X teacher & Boomer coach I had throughout middle & high school made it very clear to us kids that thinking about marrying your high school bf/gf was retarded and that you would meet so many new & better people in college & the workplace.

The few kids who ignored this advice are the happiest of all alumni that I know. Most advice from old people is garbage and is either deliberately meant to sabotage you or (at best) is just so removed from reality that it is meaningless.

Here's what you fucking morons don't understand: I expect better for my kids. We are top earners in a (supposedly) First World country, so my kids eat grass-fed beef and free range eggs and fresh produce. We only eat Real Food in this house. We easily afforded all of those things just a few years ago. Now it's not so easy anymore, but I am not going to compromise my childrens' quality of life to satisfy the lack of discernment of a subhuman slave like you.

Instead, I am going to pay the premium knowing that our President made it harder for us so that billionaires could keep looting the country, so that we could continue to be replaced with foreign workers, so that Chinese people could buy our already-short beef supply from us, and so that Israel could have the war in Iran they've been crying for my entire life.

And since you think all of that is okay and that my kids should get fat from eating nothing but rice and beans, you also belong in the same category as all of those people: my enemy.

I’m officially done—with MAGA, with Trump, and with the Republican Party.

I’ll admit I don’t live and breathe politics like a lot of people on here. Most of us—99% of the country—are too busy working, feeding our families, and trying to keep our heads above water to obsess over every twist in the political soap opera. That’s why I mostly stay quiet.

But when I walked away from the Democrats, I genuinely believed the Republicans had backbone. I thought they wouldn’t sell us out the moment it suited them. Turns out I was wrong.

The Republican Party is dead. The Democrat Party is dead. The whole system is broken, and neither side has any real interest in fixing it.

I’m tired of being strung along by billionaires who give fancy speeches but will never understand what it’s like to be part of the working majority—the blue-collar people actually keeping this country running.

I’m done.
