Modeling kindness, teaching empathy with intentionality, and emphasizing friendship are just a few ways teachers can foster a culture of learning — in-person or online — where all students feel genuinely valued.

Today Rosh Hashanah begins. In Judaism, it marks a new start and begins 10 days of introspection and repentance ending on Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement. To my dear Jewish friends, I admire your faith and commitment. Your faith enriches mine. Shanah Tovah! #RoshHashanah
I pray that we as a people are using this unique time to grow spiritually. I pray that you will choose to lay hold upon the word of God as it is declared during this #GeneralConference.
Sisters, you were given the blessing of being daughters of God with special gifts. You brought with you into mortal life a spiritual capacity to nurture others and to lift them higher. #GeneralConference
Jesus descended below all things in order to rise above all things. He expects us to follow His example. Yoked with Him, we can rise above all challenges, no matter how difficult they may be.
We should find great comfort in the fact that ordinary people who faithfully, diligently, and consistently do simple things that are right before God will be blessed in extraordinary ways.
As a special witness of His holy name, I testify that Jesus is the divine Son of the living God. He will love you, lift you, and manifest Himself unto you if you will love Him and keep His commandments.
To anybody struggling today, I say: Be hopeful, be happy, and smile. Remember that God is on your side. He is not an angry, vicious God trying to trip you. He is for you—not against you. He is your Father. He is anxious to do everything possible to bless you.
I’m proud of you young people. You have been so resilient. I hope you won’t be overly fearful or convinced that there’s no future for you. Life has always been a little messy, but there is always a way through as we lean on our Savior.

To each of you I say, foster your faith. Fix your focus with an eye single to the glory of God. “Be strong and of a good courage” (Joshua 1:6), and you will be given power and protection from on high.
