When I worked in the NHS our unit offered psychotherapy for up to 2 years. Amazing place, but now sadly gone.... Instead, today you'd be lucky to get 2-6 sessions of IAPT 'therapy'. Germany has a national long-term therapy programme, please 'like' or RT if you agree so should we.

There is a vast difference between saying 'my suffering impairs me' & 'my suffering signals an impairment'. The first fits the dysfunction model (where my suffering becomes the dysfunction) & the second the humanistic (where we now search for what might this impairment might be).

Never forget if you're working online that dissociative anonymity online allows people to separate their online actions from their real identities, reducing vulnerability and increasing disinhibition. This means they feel freer to express themselves or act out without taking responsibility for their behaviour, often convincing themselves it's not the "real" them.
