@LoboStats We will continue with the Lobo history website as we currently have it, and continue to post as we always have, in support of all LOBOS.
This site has completely changed from when we initially started things in 2013, and feel a fresh change is much needed.
We have made the decision to move our posts from Twitter over to BlueSky to start a new.
Find us over there at LongviewLobos, where we will combine both @Lobo_Football & @LoboStats into one account.
We will begin with our first round playoff game against Naaman Forest.
🏈 Blue Devils sweep Braves, remain undefeated 🏈
LONGVIEW — Judson Middle School took down the previously undefeated Jacksonville Braves on Tuesday night at Judson Stadium, extending their perfect seasons.
📅 Judson’s 7th and 8th grade squads, both now 4-0, will face their Longview ISD rivals, the Foster Middle School Dragons, next week, Oct. 8th.
📊 Judson currently leads the city standings in both 8th and 7th grade with perfect 4-0 records, ahead of Foster (2-2) and Forest Park (1-3).
🔵 8th Grade defense stands tall in 8-0 triumph
Judson’s 8th grade team edged out a resilient Jacksonville squad in an 8-0 defensive showdown, with the game decided by a last-second goal-line stand.
Kobe Williams led the offense with 12 carries for 111 yards, scoring the game's only touchdown and adding a two-point conversion. Marcus Sheridan chipped in with a single carry for 12 yards and caught an 11-yard pass, while Brody Bowden, Grayson Minshew, and Quay Carter added receiving yards to keep the offense balanced.
The offensive line, anchored by standouts Will Burks, Kevontae Webb, Sam Bass, J.D. Hardeman, Donnavan Woods, and Kaiman Flowers, provided solid protection throughout the game.
On defense, Austin Hill’s interception halted Jacksonville’s momentum, while Burks, Ja'Darius Richardson, La'Darius Richardson, and Ashton Knighton each had tackles for loss.
“We were tested by a quality opponent,” said Judson head coach Wade Daniel. “We’ve got a lot to improve, but I appreciate the grit and determination our guys showed to hold on for the win.”
🔵 7th Grade dominates in 28-0 victory
Judson 7th graders cruised to a 28-0 win over Jacksonville, with Bryson Mims leading the charge on the ground. Mims rushed seven times for 140 yards and found the end zone three times, securing 18 of Judson’s points.
D'Anthony Williams contributed with 46 yards and a touchdown on three carries, while Zykarion Jimerson added a two-point conversion to cap off his 11-yard night. Peyton Murray, Chris Booker, and William Payne also saw action, combining for 18 yards on the ground. Williams, who also played quarterback, completed 3 of 7 passes for 16 yards.
