@OorRoy Even without it being disrespectful, any player who does shit like that in their own box instead of clearing it down field should be fined a month's wages & stuck in the reserves
@TheNorfolkLion How would 1 million jobs open up exactly? Due to the very nature of being "illegal" that means these people are not in the system and can't officially have jobs, surely π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
@Common_SensePod I'm sure that they still have lots of diving/cheating in the kids game. In a sense though, I agree with your point. The worst thing here is the guy going down & grabbing the ball. Should be a hand ball every time
@jd_ather@rjb_1998 Little bit condescending. For the majority it's not just a case of "upping your game".
For most of us, we are stuck in shit jobs with no way out of them and we just get on with it π€·ββοΈ
@StephanieYeboah The article is so misleading. They can afford to have kids because they already have one.
They also bring in an extra Β£80-100k a year on rental properties they own so it's actually more like Β£325k a year.
@mindofprospect Lack of empathy my arse. They can afford to have kids, the article says they already have 1, people manage it on a lot less that Β£225k a year. In many cases 1/10th of that.
Also the article says they also bring in up to another Β£100k a year on other properties they own.
@Danny452304@Oche180@OfficialPDC@PDCResults@PDCEurope@PDCNordic No doubt it's a great earner for matchroom, the venues & the players but it's a shame when big sporting events become more about tourists than fans. Bit like the Cheltenham festival, I know plenty of avid racing fans who won't go near the place.
@Danny452304@Oche180@OfficialPDC@PDCResults@PDCEurope@PDCNordic I do agree with you but it's also about who will put bums on seats.
No doubting that James Wade is a brilliant darts player but darts fans don't go to watch the prem league. It's full of people just there for a night on the piss
@darrengrimes & people will still be able to enjoy a pint with their Sunday roast. Only difference is they will have a pint of alcohol free beer. There are so many nice ones on the market these days, Guinness 0% for instance, that taste just the same as the version with alcohol.
@TheMattViera What would I do?
I'd tell him that tomorrow is never guaranteed and he might never get another chance to give his family the holiday of a lifetime.
