I literally never speak when I see posts like this but Islamophobia is become repentant and it’s often hidden under disingenuous points like the below. Groups like ISIS and Boko Haram are less than 1% of 2 billion Muslims, and most Muslims reject them so the “60-70%” is extremely exaggerated. No country with a large Muslim population was found with over 15% viewing ISIS favourably.

Christianity has extremists too…the LRA in Uganda abducted 20,000+ children in the name of the Ten Commandments, and Christian anti-balaka militias in Central African Public killed several hundred Muslims from 2013. Christian extremists in the US have bombed clinics, murdered doctors and carried out racial terror,
A 6 year old Palestinian American boy, was stabbed 26 times in Illinois purely for being Muslim.

Regarding Aisha, her age isn’t in the Quran; it comes from hadith and is heavily debated. The fact you mention it without context just speaks to bad faith. Christian tradition puts Mary at 12–14 when betrothed, Jewish tradition says Rebekah was 3, and in Numbers 31:18 Moses tells the Israelites to keep captured virgin girls for themselves, and Catholic law allowed girls to marry at 12 until 1917. While I do not agree with any of the ages, if one heavily debated fact disgusts you, they all should.

Anyway Religion isn’t the problem; how people use it is. Are there people who do terrible things and claim it’s the name of Islam? Of course, but the same is true of Christianity, bad people exist in both faiths, but only the average Muslim is held to account for things that have nothing to do with them. Hiding Islamophobia behind inaccurate and easily disproven facts is pointless. Just say you hate Muslims and be done with it. It would even be helpful, so we know how to protect ourselves.
