When I was little, my dad pulled off the highway in Alabama, ran into the woods, and came back without a shirt. He told me he’d been attacked and lost it fighting whatever attacked him. I cried because I was terrified something was following us. I spent decades believing there was a creature in those woods. I was a grown woman when I learned he’d just pooped in the woods and used his shirt to wipe.
@rjochoa I follow you. I respect you. Maybe in certain spider-verses it would make sense to do the whole “go for 2 early” thing…rare, if ever. But last night, it with how that game was going, it would never make sense. Kick it. Go win the game after you score the 2nd TD if you wanted
Everyone wants to blame analytics. It’s not analytics. It’s coaches that have shit for brains. You, as the human being who makes the decisions, should be able to hear the analytical information and say, “Yea I don’t give AF what the computer says….the right call is to kick”
I still despise the nerd math on going for 2 instead of kicking the PAT. One of the worst analytical strategies they’ve tried to force down on us during this NFL nerd era
Brian Schottenheimer on the #Cowboys decision to go for two points instead of the PAT that would’ve made it a 7-point game:
“That’s our philosophy— when you’re down 14, especially with our offense, because when you get it, you have a chance to go and win the game, and you make it a six-point game,
“That was kind of our philosophy at that point. We just didn't get it executed.”
Why the hell would you go for 2 there? If you felt so confident about it, why not score, kick the PAT…score again and THEN for 2 to win it? OH, because you’re a bad coach. Idiot.
Going to an NFL game is not your excuse to wear the only NFL jersey you own.
You wear a Kelly green Saquon jersey to Panthers-Lions, I’m gonna call you a loser
