Thank you. Thank you for everything. Thank you for the memories, thank you for the love you have shown me over the years, thank you for the incredible events you have created time after time, thank you to the businesses who have been behind me, thank you all for backing me no matter what, and thank you for my final good bye.

My biggest fear last night was losing, not because I was fearful of losing, but because I was fearful of tarnishing everything I have ever done in my career, yet you know what?

When I stood there in the middle of the ring, gloves laid on the ground, and I looked out in front of me... All I could see was a wall, a wall of 2000+ Stokies, and not a single one had left the venue. Not a single one!

All waiting for me...

It was at that moment I realised 'I haven't tarnished anything' and I can't thank you all enough for how you made me feel in that moment. We've had some incredible years!

I can't deny, there have been a few tears as I'm writing this and thinking back to that exact moment, but they are tears or pure pride and appreciation.

It may be the end of my boxing career, but this isn't the end of me. I'm aiming to put something back directly in the heart of our city, and I can't wait ❤️

Again, I'm forever indebted to every single one of you.

One last thing, if you're a Stokie and you have a wild dream, go for it! Put your life and soul into it, never give up, and you just never know where it could take you.

If I can inspire just one of you, then that's my job done 🤝
