@Ms_Jess20 When I was in middle school around 2016-2018, we actually used a google cardboard VR headset in one of my classrooms. It was really cool and interesting to use, however seemed a bit impractical and complicated. I'm sure it has evolved since then.
@cathnun27 Virtual field trips seem like a great way to explore places! Especially if the school has a tighter budget. However, I would rather the school use the money spent on the VR on actual field trips.
VR in the classroom seems like it can be a great technological tool for students to use, but not necessary for the classroom. It would be great for after school clubs/programs that focus on tech. #EDU214
It makes sense that children are a clean slate for language- and how it’s usually very difficult for teens to learn a language from taking a high school course #eng211sp23
The video of the 4 year old girl switching languages was so amazing to me. Something like that seems so unattainable for me but it’s so interesting how people can do that #eng211sp23
It’s interesting to see the differences between MLA and APA. Most of my teachers require MLA but every now and again I get a professor that wants APA. #eng211sp23
