We are incredibly proud of all the students who participated in the Cross Country event recently! Whether sprinting to the finish or supporting their teammates, their effort embodies the spirit of our school sports program.

We had an huge amount of donations, which was sorted and boxed by our new School Captains, Cat, Bay and Dougie and delivered today by Mr Wilson.

Last night we welcomed parents and carers of our Year 5 students to our Year 5 Curriculum Evening.
It was an informative event, hosted by Mrs McEnnerney and Mrs Evans, heads of Year 5, followed by engaging English and Maths workshops run by Miss Murphy and Mr Crocombe.

We have new books arriving in our library. This is the first batch released today!
We are constantly updating our library books, to keep our students enthusiastic about reading.
This week, our fantastic Year 5's had a party to celebrate their first few weeks here at Lockyer's.
After school on Wednesday the students went out on to the field, playing games with their friends and teachers!
We are so proud of all of our Year 5's for settling in so well!π
Today we are launching our Harvest Donations Appeal, in aid of Corfe Mullen FoodBank.
We will be collecting donations in school from now until next Friday (10th October).
Please donate any non-perishable items you can to this incredibly worthwhile cause.
Yesterday saw the first Cross Country event of the school year, which took place at Canford School.
It was brilliant to have some new students, along with existing participants, taking part.

Yesterday, our Year 7 football team played their debut fixture in the National Small Schools Cup against Allenbourn Middle School, winning 7-1!
Well done to all of the players on both teams for a fantastic match!β½οΈ
Next Wednesday our Open Evening will be taking place here, between 5pm and 7pm.

Good afternoon! It is Open Evening Season! Not only is our fabulous Open Evening happening next Wednesday (24th September), but also local upper schools, Queen Elizabwth, Wimborne and Corfe Hills School.

Today our Year 7's have had a very informative visit from Nationwide UK.
They learnt about borrowing and savings, in particular taxes and national insurance and what this means from an earnings perspective in the future.
