They called PI on Washington on this play on a 3rd down stop when USC was backed up to their own 6 yard line.
USC then proceeded to kick a field goal later on the drive which forced UW to need a TD on their final drive of the game in a 25-21 loss.
@mandalooner Play before it was an offsides penalty and the refs chose not to reward USC with a DPI penalty on an uncatchable ball with incidental contact. You need to go read the rules about uncatchable passes and DPI.
@FightOnRusty@UWFBopinions Look I agreed that the hit in your game against O****n was way more bang-bang than people were saying, but this was not a late hit. That replay video is also slowed by the broadcast team*.
@NoahGarguile Nah he has definitely regressed as a passer, and some of it is on the lack of an OL. But this is a classic case of teams getting good film on you and then going to work.
@Hoyt4UW@CamCleeland No anticipation either. Penix had ELITE anticipation at a level in college I don't think I'd seen since Andrew Luck. Pretty stark difference.
@CamCleeland I don't think he can hit the mid range, Cam. You can see guys open and he's not going to them. Something is wrong there and it's either vision, coaching, or fear. Otherwise I don't know what is going on?
@Joeyjonz@NoahGarguile Worst part for me is we intentionally went & got an OL that's all 6'0 to 6'5" & bragged about it coming into the season. We have NFL height for a high school height quarterback on a college team. Demond can have all the arm/leg talent but if he can't see the middle that's it.
