@SpitbucketBlog Agree with your premise, but just like ranting on about overoaked, high alcohol wines, at the end of the day I think we have to acknowledge that these things sell. Not to everyone, obviously, but to enough to make it pencil out. Sigh, so much work to do.....

@wblakegray This transition is sad. It used to be just Napa that was like Wine Tasting Disneyland, but now it's spreading. Selling an overpriced experience is apparently lucrative in the short term, but those that want to make and sell quality wine need to think about the long term.

Dark cherry, eucalyptus scents. Cherry and leather and a good dose of tannins

Red cherry, leather light, softly coating the tongue with nice smooth finish. Yup!

Smoke, cherry and same with flavor. Add leather, with glycerol mouth feel, and soft integrated tannins.
