GNAC Tournament Upset: 3-seed Western Oregon beats 2-seed Montana State Billings 9-3 to punch their ticket to Friday.

@LoganLarrance was outstanding on the mound, throwing a complete game with just three runs allowed and a season-high seven strikeouts.

Western Oregon’s Logan Larrance (@LoganLarrance) has now thrown 13 straight scoreless innings, allowing just 5 hits in that span.

The redshirt sophomore has been nearly untouchable lately. He tossed a 7-inning complete-game shutout against MSUB last weekend and followed it up by blanking SMU for six innings in Thursday’s win.

Western Oregon swept Friday’s doubleheader to take a 2-1 series lead over MSU Billings.

Game 1 belonged to the Wolves thanks to a nine-run first inning and a strong 7-inning outing from Ayden Holker (7 K). @RobbyShepherd3 went 2-for-4 with two doubles and 3 RBI.

In Game 2, @LoganLarrance threw a complete-game 4-hit shutout (7 IP, 5 K) as Western Oregon used a five-run fourth to secure the sweep. @gunnarshiotani_ finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
