#Illini Brad Underwood is OK giving up some three-pointers IF it cuts off layups.

Nebraska had 18 points in the paint on Sunday -- compared to 34 points in the December meeting which they won.

This was by design, forcing Nebraska to beat Illinois with the deep ball

They made 11 in the first half. But just 4 in the 2nd half.

Illinois' defense has skyrocketed in defensive metrics since the Nebraska loss, going from 40th to 24th, per KenPom.

That could be good enough... when you have the No. 1 ranked offense

Illinois is 10-1 in Big Ten play, tied with Michigan for 1st place. And 19-3 overall. And a projected 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament
