@CoachSwit If every high school pitcher that goes D1 goes their senior high school season with 50 IP 50-100 k’s and less than 20 walks and magically turns into a BB an inning guy it’s because their stuff doesn’t translate to the next level and they are compensating command for better stuff.

@CoachSwit The pitchers that have elite command, stuff, and velo aren’t playing in college baseball because they get drafted. The hitting talent pool is much more dense than the pitching at the college level. Pitchers are forced to throw harder than they can comfortably causing wildness.
