The Madison County Historical Society announced that RHS social science teachers, Suze Gibson & Logan Ridneour have been recognized as a MCHS Teaching Fellow. Both teachers were awarded this distinction for enriching their teaching & making history come alive for their students!

The Illinois House votes 75-32-1 to pass @StateRepWEST's bill mandating that public elementary + high schools include a unit on Native American history within Illinois and the Midwest. It'd also require instruction of the Native American genocide during the unit on the Holocaust.
