We are looking for fields in AB and SK that contain black medic for my master’s project funded by @SaskPulse! If you have fields with a history of pulse root rot and wouldn’t mind us digging root samples this July send me a DM!

Last week I planted the first experiment for my master’s!
We’re testing whether Fusarium avenaceum (one of the causal agents for Fusarium root rot) can infect the roots of 9 common Prairie weeds. Looking forward to harvesting and testing in a few weeks!

#westcdnag, in 2021 we confirmed glyphosate-resistant (GR) downy brome in southern Alberta. Any farmers/agronomists suspecting GR downy brome are encouraged to submit a sample for free diagnostic testing. DM me for sample submission details. PLEASE RT.
