@danorlovsky7@Chiefs@HoustonTexans That is just as much on the center as it is QB. The center can tell the LB is coming so you shift protection towards the blitz. QB can see the 2 safeties on the same side and should send the back to the outside towards the safeties.
@TorresonBama Tough part is that they don’t schedule their own conference games. Only way to avoid Vandy, OU, and Tennessee is to change conferences. Learn how college football works before you run to twitter to cry.
@EmmanuelAcho Bama lost 3 games.2 of which were 6-6 teams that finished in the bottom 5 of the SEC by a combined 26 points.
SMU lost to 10-2 and 3rd place Big 12 BYU, and ACC Champ Clemson by a combined 6 points.
Bama’s ass whooping at OU should keep them out.

I never understood how guys in their 40s would blow their lives up or off themselves.
I get it now.
All you do everyday is look after others. Always more requests. You're always pouring into the cup of work or family.
No one ever pours into your cup.
And nobody seems to care.
@frankmikesmith What about a tribute cover? Showing each of the players who would have been on the cover each year since they stopped producing the game?
I’m tired of seeing people talk about how #kufball should have finished with 10 wins or more this season.
I agree with that statement, however we need to put this into perspective:
There are a lot of fans of other teams that are upset that they didn’t see their team finish 8-4, and they would do anything to see their team achieve that goal.
Kansas went winless three seasons ago. This program has been in the dumps for so long, and this is the best record that they have finished with in the regular season in a very long time, with a chance to grab a 9th win here in a few weeks. This was the best season that this program has had since 2008. 15 years. So before you start complaining about how we should be better than 8-4, please re-consider and think about that for a moment.
With the adversity and the challenges that this team had to face especially at the quarterback position, we should be more than proud of what they accomplished this season. Lance Leipold should be the Big 12 Coach of the Year with what he was able to put together with all of the challenges this team faced this season. This year’s team never gave up and showed so much resiliency every single week this season no matter what the circumstances, and that has been something that this program has not had nor experienced for quite some time as well. That quality alone, is what made this year’s team so special. There are so many talented guys that will be on this team next year, which leads me to my last point.
With the landscape of the Big 12 and college football with the CFP expansion to 12 teams next season, this team should absolutely be in the conversation for CFP and Big 12 contention if they continue to do what they were able to do next year. Laugh and say what you want about that statement, but as long as Leipold is leading this team and keeping our guys healthy, they will be in those conversations.
So proud of our team. Proud of Coach Leipold and this coaching staff. The future is more than bright ahead. Rock Chalk
