Author of epic dark fantasy with broken characters shaped by real scars. Stories of pain, war, & sometimes redemption—rooted in truth, forged in blood and lore.
Blood, ruin, and the weight of hard choices.
I don’t write heroes. I write survivors—flawed, scarred, and still standing.
If you’re into character-driven fantasy with grit, consequence, and no easy answers, the trilogy’s complete and waiting for you.

PSA for authors commissioning art:
There's a wave of scam accounts posing as illustrators right now. They use stolen photos, AI-generated art passed off as hand-drawn, and they are usually open for commissions.
Three things to check before you pay anyone:
1. Reverse image search the profile photo.
2. Compare their sketches to their finals. AI art tends to break down under that comparison ( inconsistent linework, drifting style, anatomy that shifts between pieces).
3. Look at their history. Older posts, repeat clients, presence across multiple platforms, and websites. A polished portfolio on a month-old account with no trail is a red flag.
For European citizens: from 2 August 2026, the EU AI Act will require AI-generated visual content to be disclosed in commercial contexts. Selling AI art as handmade won't only be dishonest but also illegal.
Your money and your book deserve better.
📣📣📣 COVER REVEAL 📣📣📣
Excited to help with the cover reveal for Corey Ratliff's 'Shadows at the Altar'!
Description: Many names have been shackled to my past. Son of God. Monster. Brother. Murderer. Savior. Heretic. Prophet. Hunter.
All true, depending on who's telling the story.
The House of Light finally caught me after years of treason and self-imposed exile. Now they demand the truth—why one of their own would free the vampyres of the North and the wolves of the Wilds.
They won't like what they hear. But that's why I let them capture me. They think they've chained a traitor. They have no idea they're listening to the only man who knows what's coming.

Amazon doesn't care how good your book is.
The algorithm cares about clicks, reads, and reviews.
Your job as an author doesn't end when you type "the end".
Are you still sitting on a finished book waiting for the "right moment" to promote it?
There is no right moment.
The readers who need your book are already looking for it right now.
I feel like I'm failing
Myself—
It's not you I must
Save.
While I was crying
In pain,
You left me rotting
In hell.
And the silence is
Growing,
While the darkness
Consumes me.
And the world stops
Moving,
While my wounds keep
Bleeding.
Where should I look
When you
Turn your back
On me?
Why do I have to
Fix
What you
Broke?

One thing that makes a book banner actually work? White space.
Designers call it "room to breathe." Readers experience it as "easy to read."
A crowded banner makes people scroll past. A clean one makes them stop.
This is half of what I think about when I'm designing for authors. The other half is making sure it still feels like your book.
If you'd rather not think about all that at all, that's what I'm here for. Only a few May slots left. DM me 🫶🏻
@DKemeridou So glad you were able to find something. I understand the pains of unemployment (20 months). But you've got this... Saddle up, be yourself and knock it out the part!
I know I’ve been quiet — this new job has been kicking my ass and I’m still finding my rhythm. Pretty sure my algo is wrecked 😅
But I wanted to pop in and wish everyone who celebrates a very Merry Christmas 🎄✨🎁
As we head into the new year, I’m planning to be more active again and start sharing regular writing updates on my novel coming in 2026.
On the roof of Salisbury Cathedral in the UK 🇬🇧, a small grotesque figure can be seen playfully biting a large gargoyle drain spout. This whimsical yet unusual design is one of the many striking examples of medieval stonework that adorn the cathedral’s exterior. The grotesque, a small, often comical figure, serves as both decorative and functional, typically positioned to direct water away from the building while also adding a touch of personality to the structure.
The gargoyle drain spout itself is a key feature of Gothic architecture, designed to channel rainwater away from the building’s walls to prevent erosion and damage. This particular gargoyle’s exaggerated features and the small grotesque biting it create an intriguing contrast, combining the serious function of water drainage with a sense of humor and creativity. The playful interaction between the two elements reflects the medieval builders' unique blend of artistry and practicality.
Salisbury Cathedral, renowned for its stunning Gothic architecture, features many such fascinating details that give it a distinct character. The small grotesque biting the gargoyle drain spout serves as a reminder of the cathedral's long history and the craftsmanship of its builders. As one of the most iconic landmarks in the UK, the cathedral continues to attract visitors not only for its architectural grandeur but also for the intricate, often hidden details that tell stories of medieval life and spirituality.

@AuthorGFAllen I use a family tree creator. There's some decent free ones out there that do the hierarchy pretty well. Most of them are geared towards modern, but you can still make it work with fantasy or medieval based trees too.
If all else fails, just keep an Excel sheet with names
So what I do... If I don't have a name already, I use a placeholder name and I put a note/comment that it needs to change. Then I'll use a name generator like https://t.co/iHpUj1ERBB and help me find what I'm looking for.
But I try and name based on region, country, history, surname, etc... to maintain a consistency and familial structure.
