In the photo on the left is an ordinary boy, a schoolboy from Brovary, who was only 13 years old. His name is Yelisey Ryabokon.
On the right is the hat the boy was wearing, completely riddled with bullets and shrapnel, as well as his white T-shirt, which he put on over his jacket to show the russians that he was a civilian.
However, the bullets from the russian soldiers pierced right through it.
This is a terrible reminder of what happened.
On March 11, 2022, Yelisey's family tried to escape from a village called Peremoha, which had already been captured by the Russians.
As they were driving, the Russian soldiers first waved at them, as if wishing them a safe journey.
But then, for no reason at all, they simply opened fire on the car full of people. When the column came under fire, Yelisey's mother and younger son were in one car, while the boy himself was riding in another.
The first car exploded after taking a direct hit from a shell; people started jumping out of the cabin and hiding.“I dragged the little one by the hood,” Inna recalled.
She hoped that her older son was alive and simply hadn’t managed to get out of the car. It was enough for her to glance at her son to understand: he had died instantly. The mother miraculously managed to survive and pull her younger son out from under the shelling.
At first, Yelisey was buried simply in someone’s vegetable garden in that village. Only after some time was the family able to transport his body back home to Brovary to bury him properly.
The coffin was never opened. His father Yevhen, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was never able to see his son one last time.
Yelisey’s mother Inna says: she wants the whole world to know what Russia has done in Ukraine. So that people remember every murdered child, every woman. So that Russia is held accountable for all these crimes.
Those who knew Yelisey say he was a very calm, polite, and always smiling boy.
In May of that year, he would have turned 14…

A horrific scene.
Russia struck a residential building in Kharkiv, killing at least seven civilians, including two children. First responders continue to search for people under the rubble.
Russia is a terrorist state.
There can be no easing of restrictions against Russian murderers while they continue to kill Ukrainian children in their sleep.
No easing of sanctions or bans at international sports and culture events.
The regime in Moscow not only terrorizes Ukraine, but it also spreads terror throughout the world. It helps Iran murder and destroy. It strengthens the DPRK and its ability to threaten the region.
Pressure on Russia must be increased in order to restore a lasting peace for Ukraine and for the sake of international peace and security.
Dear Lindsey Graham, I wish the same speed, courage, and determination you have shown toward Iran had also been shown toward Russia. I do not criticize your actions against the Iranian regime. - but I cant ignore the contrast.
You probably remember the police officer from Mariupol who pleaded with American lawmakers to help deliver air defense systems as quickly as possible. You may also recall the period when all of Ukraine was asking for the sky to be closed.
Ukrainians were not asking for Russia to be bombed or for actions like those taken in Iran - they were simply asking for protection of their airspace and for the interception of the Russian and Iranian drones and missiles that were striking peaceful cities.
Four years have passed since this video address, and not much has changed. Saying that Ukraine is far away and that someone else should worry about it changes nothing - Iran is even farther away than Ukraine.
If justice shouldn’t depend on geography, then neither should support for Ukraine - yet hesitation and escalation fears constantly slow the help Ukrainians need to survive an ongoing invasion. . .
Today, the illegitimate Iranian regime is attacking American military bases using Shahed drones that it has upgraded with Russian assistance.
Ukraine has excellent interceptor drones and could work more closely with the United States to help advance air defense capabilities.
It is time to increase the pressure on Russia!
Bodies are scattered across the pavement. Just this morning, they were living people on their way to the market.
Russia struck the Druzhkivka market with cluster munitions, killing at least 7 civilians and injuring another 15.
BREAKING: A Russian drone attack on a bus carrying mine workers in Ukraine’s central-eastern Dnipropetrovsk region has killed 15 people.
Do you think Trump will now rescind his invitation for Putin to join his so-called “Board of Peace”?
Yeah, I don’t think so either
This is the passenger train russian drones struck today in Kharkiv region.
291 people were on board.
There were 3 drones, not 1. This was no mistake - it is terrorism.
A man is sitting over the body of a woman just killed by a Russian FPV drone.
He himself is wounded and bleeding.
On the white snow, the red stain keeps growing.
These were two civilians who were trying to leave Russian-occupied Hrabovske in Sumy region on a sled, on their own.
The Russians deliberately struck them with an FPV drone.
First, one strike hit the woman.
Then a second drone was used to finish off the man.
I am writing these lines knowing that I am powerless to change what happened. I am reading messages from our soldiers who documented this Russian crime with a drone camera and who themselves cannot bear what they saw, despite having witnessed a lot during this war.
Another Russian war crime, committed by people for whom no laws or conventions of war exist.
The drone pilots were tracking the civilians. Evacuation teams were waiting for them further away from the village. Along the way, water was even dropped to them from a drone.
But the civilians never made it.
Because Russians exist.
I do not know how one can respond proportionally to such crimes.
But I do know who allowed this situation to happen in what was until recently a quiet village called Hrabovske.

On January 27, 1945, warriors of the 1st Ukrainian Front liberated the prisoners of Auschwitz, revealing to the world the truth about the machinery of extermination that claimed the lives of six million Jews, including one and a half million of our compatriots.
Today, we honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, but at the same time we must acknowledge a bitter truth: passive remembrance has not become a safeguard against new genocides. The proof of this is Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
The world has no right to be blind or caught off guard. Preventing new tragedies is impossible without a resolute readiness to act preemptively and the inevitability of punishment for war criminals. It is only just retribution for crimes that can ensure that the slogan “Never Again” finally becomes a reality.
Today russian forces carried out FPV drone strikes on Kozacha Lopan and Ruska Lozova in Kharkiv region, killing two people and injuring another local resident — local authorities report.
Deliberate terrorism again.
