@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy You keep equating person with independent being. The 3 persons are distinct, not independent. They mutually indwell one another. The 3 share one essence; therefore, the 3 share one mind and one will. You are essentially strawmanning the Trinitarian position.
@GreekVikingX@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy To give you a short answer:
Logic in Orthodox Christianity is grounded in the mind of God, the divine Logos. Even if I were to grant you that logic could be grounded metaphysically in atheism, you still couldn't ground consciousness because your highest reality is impersonal.
@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy Also, what even are you, an atheist? How do you justify logic? Go learn TAG if you aren't familiar with the argument, and you'll realize how absurd atheism is, and how dumb it is for an atheist to engage in debate as a result of their worldview.
@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy Christians don't believe 1=3. This is why I pointed out your category error fallacy. Yahweh is the divine name shared by all 3 divine persons, so there are 3 Yahwehs. You're the only one collapsing Person and Essence into one category.
@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy Even the Old Testament we see Yahweh on Earth sending fire down on Sodom and Gomorrah from Yahweh in Heaven. You're the only one incapable of understanding that distinctions do not create a contradiction.
@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy Alright bro, you seem to not have a clue what you are talking about. The Scriptures are very clear that the Father is God, The Son (Jesus) is God, and the HS is God, yet there is one God and they are seen interacting with one another. This is why there is a distinction of persons
@QuestionErythng@gaptoothdummy Category error. A, B, and C are Hypostaseis, personal subsistences. D is an Ousia, the essence of a thing or person, what something is.
God is 3 Hypostaseis who share, without division or confusion, the same 1 divine Ousia. Therefore, 1 God expressed in 3 Persons
@Phillipi467@autocorrect2_0@Ro__Junior@valorthodoxia 😂😂😂 Oh, you actually believe when John says the Word was God and the Word was with God that it's talking about the written Scriptures. You're no different than a Muslim or a Jew. When did the Scriptures become flesh?
