Throwback Thursday: In Week 4 of the 2018 season, Andrew Luck found Mo Alie-Cox for the one-handed TD vs. the Raiders. Mo’s first career touchdown and one of the best grabs you’ll ever see.
Final score: IND 42 OAK 28
Luck: 22/31, 239 yards, 3 TDs
Marlon Mack: 132 yards, 2 TDs
@ZachHicks2 Yeah he really impressed me this year. The kickoff units specifically seemed lackluster the first 2 years but they did much better this year
Comparing the Lions and Colts to the best 8-8 teams by DVOA.
The 2011 Eagles and 2019 Cowboys collapsed the next year, but three of the teams on this list made the Super Bowl the following season.
If the #Colts lose to San Francisco but then win out and catch the #Texans at 10-7, the AFC # 7 seed will come down to the beloved strength of victory tiebreaker.
Here is a color-coded guide of what each team would need to win it. (It's very close!)

#Colts playoff scenarios (according to The Athletic playoff predictor):
Scenario 1:
Colts win out = 86% playoff probability
Clinch berth if one of the following:
- LAC beats HOU (week 17)
- BUF loses out (vs. Eagles, Jets)
- DEN beats LAC (week 18)
- TEN beats JAX (week 18)
Scenario 3:
Colts finish 9-8 or 10-7 with win vs. SF but lose 1+ of the final two games (vs. JAX or HOU) = Out of the playoffs
TL;DR:
- Most likely path = Win out + minor help
- Losing to SF but winning vs. HOU and JAX needs a LOT of help
- Losing to HOU or JAX = eliminated

Scenario 2:
Colts lose to SF but win vs. JAX and HOU = 13% probability
This one is a lot muddier and requires a LOT of help
The most realistic path is ALL of the following:
Week 17:
- LAC over HOU
- DEN over KC
- CHI over SF
- GB over BAL
Week 18:
- PIT over BAL
- SEA over SF
@ColtsFilmRoom Maybe I just have my rose colored glasses on but I don’t think all is lost for next year. Re-sign DJ to another 1 year deal and go into the season with AR as the presumed starter (pending DJ’s rehab). The core of this roster that started 8-2 is still under contract 🤷♂️
