I just announced Veiled. It runs on some advanced SNARK proofs under the hood, and building it meant figuring out a #gnark to #Aiken pipeline for #Cardano, since none existed. I pulled that pipeline out of Veiled into a standalone toolkit so anyone can use it. 🧵

Thank you for the delegation @Cardano_CF. We really do appreciate the long-term commitment you made to [LOGIC].

We made over 4000 blocks for #Cardano with a lifetime luck of 100%. We had a blast maintaining the stake pool. It was a bare-metal pool running on solar power, with two antipode cloud relays for maximum reach.

Like many things, sometimes things have to end.

With the loss of stake, [LOGIC] will sunset all relays, reduce the pledge to zero, and increase the margin and fixed fee. We want to encourage our delegators to redelegate before we start the retirement process.

We will still maintain our pre-production stake pool and continue building on Cardano.

Mainnet Incident Update

Cardano experienced a temporary chain partition today after a malformed transaction triggered a bug in an underlying software library.

The ecosystem moved fast in a coordinated response. Upgrades to node version 10.5.2/10.5.3 are restoring full convergence, with the healthy chain becoming dominant. A dedicated working group is reconciling data, and a full AAR will follow.

Following an issue identified in the Preview environment yesterday, Cardano is currently experiencing a technical issue now on Mainnet.

Currently block production has slowed, and we’re working closely with @Cardano_CF and @InputOutputHK as we coordinate a technical response.
