Psychology says some people avoid socializing not because they hate people, but because they can read them too well. They walk into a room and immediately sense the fake laughs, the hidden agendas, the performances. Their nervous system doesn’t misread the signal, it just refuses to ignore it. Small talk feels like a tax they didn’t agree to pay. Forced smiles cost them energy that takes hours to recover.
They’re not broken. They’re calibrated differently. They don’t avoid people. They avoid emotional labor that leads nowhere. When they do connect, it’s deep, intentional, real. No masks. No games. Fewer friends doesn’t mean loneliness. It means higher standards.
That’s not antisocial behavior. That’s emotional intelligence.
@BeeTEE15@RonoAnalyst Preach! Us Flyers fans are begging to get some type of skilled #1 center to really maximize these guys. Not sure it will be accomplished this offseason unfortunately…
it’s so cool to me that we as human beings can tear up for something so outrageous like a bunch of talking toys getting perished in a trash incinerator.
movies are fucking beautiful man.
Boston sports in 2026
Celtics blow 3-1 lead
Patriots blown out in Super Bowl
Red Sox aren’t a playoff team
Bruins lost in playoffs
Back in the basement you go Boston https://t.co/4SGXqdvoJo
@JoyOnBroad The flyers are simply not good enough to compete with the Hurricanes. Which we all knew, the “experience” was good for them to beat Pittsburgh, but this series will show this team has work to do on the roster. “Experience” getting swept does nothing
@eleven24@dsilver88 I agree they look tired but what’s the excuse when they are the younger team? Is it the inexperience in closing out a series with too much thinking and not enough reacting? The efforts we had to play with after the Olympic break to even get in the playoffs maybe catching up?
