@lesbianhunterv2@WinterSociety32@deltasyn *I want to correct one part with taking inspiration from the og cast, eng is not my first language and sometimes I get words mixed
@lesbianhunterv2@WinterSociety32@Officer_Zack@deltasyn If that was true they would have chosen someone now who were closer to Tyler but they did not. Also the present cast got told to base their interpretation on the legacy cast. And again Morikawa has a deep voice and he voiced Sephiroth the longest and in everything.
@lesbianhunterv2@WinterSociety32@deltasyn The actual actors said they listen to the og Japanese voice lines for every single lines they do because it informs them on what they have to do, records their lines and then the director choose the proper one. Keep crying that Tyler left bro

@WinterSociety32@lesbianhunterv2@deltasyn This imbecile is convinced they casted Travis because of Matt Mercer and Critical Role and not because of his experience as VA...
It's fine to have Tifa as a favorite but when you're saying things like this when Tifa abandoned the team and fell apart when Cloud went comatose, I'm questioning whether you actually played OG or got blinded by bias so badly that you ignore everything without Tifa...
stan twitter acts like admitting their fav was wrong is a crime 😭 you don't even know them personally, so stop defending everything they do. they're human, they can be wrong, and they're NOT perfect.
@h0lly_blue@lesbianhunterv2@Lagiacrus96@XFDModular The funny thing is "he sounds nothing like Tyler" as if that is how Sephiroth should definitely sound like when Tyler was actually the one not sounding like the others VA(especially the JP one which I think has more weight since he has been voicing Seph since the beginnning)
the recent shift in fandom spaces where a person can’t express their feelings or opinions without getting attacked is a huge reason why people do not want to create and end up leaving
@pulseoflife Exactly! It's weird especially when it was also clear Tyler was trying to sound close to Newbern in his interpretation. Not to talk about Morikawa (the JP VA who voiced him in everything and for the longest time) who also has a deep voice. Tyler was actually not deep enough
@WinterSociety32@lesbianhunterv2@Officer_Zack@deltasyn Gotta love how they went "that's irrelevant" cause they didn't have a proper reply as they got caught not being able to read or understand a text. And even ignored how Morikawa who still voices him and always voiced him has also a deep voice(and new Va got told to follow og one)
@lesbianhunterv2@WinterSociety32@Officer_Zack@deltasyn You're the one actually deaf and deluding yourself about how Seph should sound. Morikawa still voices him and he has a deep voice, he voiced Sephiroth in all other contents Tyler/Newbern didn't even get to dub, I'd say it says enough about what the character should sound
@Estebantheguy What I find weird is some people saying that Seph's voice shouldn't be deep when both Newbern and Morikawa who voiced him for longer(and Morikawa still does)have deep voices. It was actually Tyler who wasn't deep enough(makes me think he was their first Seph)
@gandanlf@jlhabitan@divine_rescue7 Yeah, like, he once said how he recorded his lines for Sephiroth while working on Superman&Lois at the same time.
@divine_rescue7@PROJ_Sephiroth I don't know his actual reason but I think as well he didn't really "care" for the role as much, for example, as Newbern did. He never promoted the game or joined interviews with the rest of the cast(even admitted he didn't know anything about Seph and was just a random audition)
