A line that repeats non-stop in my head, while at the gym:
is Dorian Yates saying:
“If it’s in your capacity… it won’t change you.”
Heard it once. Has kicked my ass ever since.
You hear it during every rep of every set.
No bitching out. Push PAST.
Applies to so many facets.
Retardmaxxing is an elegantly simple way of saying there’s no intellectual solution for an existential problem. Like in Coelho’s Alchemist, you end up where you started because you can’t truly depart from yourself - all true transformation is embodied, time yields treasures when there’s momentum, hence “the alchemist”, meaning the person who can make gold is the person who moves, does, attempts, desires, seeks, tries. “He who jumps into the void owes no explanation to those who stand and watch” type beat
Your life will get better in direct proportion to the degree to which you stop expecting people to read your mind,
And instead, clearly communicate your expectations, needs, wants, boundaries. Etc
@heavyA11 I Believe this advice is correct contradicting itself. The most important part of solving a puzzle is having all the pieces. If you are missing a piece how are you going to tell where it is, unless you go out there to find it with an open mind.
Listen to your intuition motherfucker, why are you ignoring it
