I’m writing this tweet from inside Gaza City, with nothing but anger and grief in my heart.

Who told you the war had stopped? They lied to you. The bombing has not stopped for a single day. Today, a strike hit right next to where I live. Every day there is death, destruction, and fear.

Gaza City has collapsed. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, with gunfire and explosions even inside the areas of the Yellow Line. We don’t know where to run or where we can be safe.

The aircraft are flying extremely low over our heads right now. Their sound is terrifying, and quadcopters are flying directly over the tents. We are surrounded from every direction, and every day we somehow survive.

The world outside continues with its life as if nothing is happening, as if human beings aren’t dying here every single day. While we live waiting for a moment that could be our last.

Write about what is happening here. Share it. Don’t let the world forget that we are still living under bombing and death. The war has not stopped in Gaza.
