Football is not just any sport to me. I am emotionally attached! And it dictates my mental health.

You’ve been told: “Have Tawakkul.”
But no one tells you how.
No one tells you what it looks like when your heart is breaking, your plans are crumbling, and everything feels too heavy to bear
Here is the truth about Tawakkul they don’t talk about:
Ramadan Series 🌙 | Day 1
I see a lot of young Muslim women struggling with faith, identity, and what it means to be a muslim woman. So this Ramadan, I’m sharing stories of remarkable women in Islam, warriors, scholars, leaders, and change makers. 30 Women. 30 Days. 30 Stories.
We begin with one of the greatest:
Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA)
Before Islam had a name, there was a woman who believed first. Born into Mecca’s elite, widowed twice, she inherited a trading business and did something radical for her time: she ran it herself. Not quietly, not timidly. Successfully. Men competed to work under her name. She built wealth, reputation, and influence on her own terms.
She was generous with that wealth too, supporting widows, orphans, struggling relatives, and those in need. Power, for her, came with responsibility.
She later hired Muhammad (SAW), known for his honesty, to lead her trade caravan to Syria. Impressed by his character, she decided to propose marriage herself. He was 25. She was 40. And their marriage became one of the most beautiful partnerships in history. He never took another wife while she lived.
What stands out most?
She ran an empire.
She challenged societal expectations.
She chose her life deliberately.
Faithful, visionary, unapologetically strong 🤍
Believe in what you've prayed for, even if it sounds unreachable, even if it scares you, even if it's beneath two mountains because you're asking Allah and He can give you. Nothing is impossible for Him. Don't ever give up on your duas!
Can I speak freely?
I dislike accounting.
Trust me, in my transition to finance, I gave it several tries 🫠 Nope. Not my thing.👎🏾
Boring and monotonous for the most part.
I can’t count how many people have advised me to take ICAN. Lol. One thing I thank God for is clarity. Even if a thousand people are doing something, if I know it’s not for me, I won’t force it.
So yeah…
I love finance, but I dislike accounting.
