Myth 3: Chewing gum replaces brushing.
Weird but true! Some people actually believe that
Truth: Only brushing removes plaque. Gum just freshens your breath.

Life is not perfect but your teeth can be 😁❤️
No 1 is GARRI
Garri is acidic (especially when soaked).
Acid weakens your enamel (the hard outer layer of teeth).
It also sticks to teeth, making it easier for bacteria to thrive.
Over time, it causes enamel erosion and leads to cavities.
No 2 is BREAD
Bread contains refined starch and when chewed, saliva breaks it down into sugars.
These sugars stick between teeth and feed oral bacteria.
The bacteria produce acid which leads to cavities.
No 3 is RICE
Plain rice itself isn’t sweet, but it’s usually high in starch.
Starch quickly turns into simple sugars in the mouth.
Therefore, the sticky particles linger between teeth and when you don't clean your mouth, it causes the same acid attack as sugar.
No 4 is SUYA
The problem isn’t only the meat, it’s the spices, pepper, & oil
Spices and meat get trapped between teeth and gums which turns to a breeding ground for bacteria
Combined with late night eating when many don’t brush again
It leads to cavities and bad breath
Some of you no need BBL, PS5, or a new iPhone. What you need is a good MOUTHWASH and a DENTAL CHECKUP 😂
Rotten tooth fit stress your whole body pass heartbreak.
@PD_Clinic dey for you. Lagos people, pull up!
The last one is Sweet Snacks (Chin Chin, Puff Puff, Biscuits, Cakes, Soft Drinks)
These are loaded with sugar & refined carbs.
Sugar feeds bacteria which releases acid and causes your enamel to dissolve
Sticky/oily textures make it worse because they cling to teeth.
