My story "Hollywood Madness" can now be seen in The Dark City Crime and Mystery Magazine: Volume 8, Issue 2!
Where can you find that, you ask? Well, here: https://t.co/zxeZHhE5fj
I love submitting to @TheColoredLens Magazine. I've never gotten an acceptance (yet), but they get back to you so fast and with such a positive and *personal* response that they are always one of my first subs for genre fiction.
Well, that was a great writing group. I was told that I'd improved greatly, and hit my target of a flash piece - actually keeping it short - without sacrificing my verbose voice or overly truncating the plot. #nailedit
@SeanCRHill Absolutely. One isn't "better" than the other. That said, I enjoy the novel more. I've done a lot of shorts, and have 4 publishing credits. I'll try for more, but I really want to get a novel under my belt.
@mqr_tweets I'm curious if you have a timetable for last year's submissions. I have a submission from September 27th of last year still marked 'received' in Submittable.
Am I allowed to submit something else for this year?
Reading Babylon's Ashes...
I'm hoping this picks up. I love this world, but starting with book 4, the main progression of the Expanse series seems to be bloat.
