@ICT_MrP We canโt put the whole burden on schools. Parents shape behaviour, attendance and readiness to learn - parents deserve training too if we want inclusive outcomes. Families shouldnโt be expected to wing it alone, just as teachers shouldnโt be expected to do everything in school
@Billo20Four7@liamdutton@lizzieweather So I did some investigating - I donโt think itโs an atmospheric phenomenon. It could be the magenta glow from industrial greenhouses & the clouds were low enough last night create a pink sky. Are there market gardens near you?
@bindelj Agreed - it was a very different interview to yours. I wish we hear her views on the link between neurodivergence and gender incongruence. The link in children is obvious.
@mike56200 Thank you for all your hard work in your community. Youโre an inspiration. I thought you might appreciate a crisp packet I just found in the woods. AI suggests it was manufactured in around 1990 ๐
@RanTeeThree She will stay in prison until October - they donโt want her to be the poster girl of the riots which will inevitably take place this summer
@monstroso There used to be a pub in Bermondsey called Boatman - not a nod to the men who worked on the Thames but was actually the landlordโs surname. Nevertheless, everyone called it The Boatman ๐
like staying seated unless given permission, and regularly challenge instructions. Itโs tedious, demoralising and infuriating, yet you have to control yourself from voicing your actual thoughts ๐
I work in a school in an affluent area. Compared to some nearby schools, weโre considered โluckyโ that behaviour isnโt extreme, but the constant low-level disruption takes its toll. Itโs difficult to make lessons engaging when children talk over you, ignore basic rules 1/2
@ICT_MrP Thank you for verbalising what many of us think. Pay 50p above the minimum wage, no scope for progression within the school. Yes, we do it because we love children, but please donโt gaslight us with a wage that would keep a roof over our heads, let alone food on the table.
Could Sweep be AUTISTIC?
Always the odd one out โ๏ธ
Doesnโt understand social rules โ๏ธ
Makes choices not appropriate to the situation โ๏ธ
Has special interests (bones and sausages) โ๏ธ
Echolalia โ๏ธ
Convince me otherwise!
The Sooty Show. Sooty, Sue and Harry are enjoying a refined musical evening. But Sweep, that little tinker, just has to get involved with a number of totally unsuitable instruments ....
