Please go to any USMC barracks in the world, on any random weeknight, and get back to me. We were slammin 30 racks at midnight, and waking up for PT the next morning at 5am.
@B3rk3l3yHunt@DidIndianaW See now that’s a problem w me😂😂 I’m a falcons fan😂 but glad you enjoy the NFL and got to experience a game none the less. If you ever get a chance to experience an SEC football game here I’d highly recommend it. It clears the NFL 100x over. Especially night games.
@CadWMC We truly enjoy this, yes. Lights, fireworks, loud music, and community. Sorry you all think it’s “faux” but when I’m between the hedges on a Saturday afternoon/evening in the fall, there’s no place in the world better imo.
@B3rk3l3yHunt@DidIndianaW Yeah, I mean I got into soccer in 2020, when I first met my wife. Since then I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told “I can’t ever truly appreciate the game” or “I can’t ever be a true Manchester fan bc I’m not from Manchester”. I just want the game to grow in the US tbh
@briansjelks@thetylerkelley I mean yeah we’re definitely the most talented team in our group. Ig im just saying we don’t have a Bosnia or a Curaçao in our group to lean on a free win.
@xxfr8dog@JaseOfBase513 This is a problem in America for sure. Teams announce tickets sold, vs true attendance. Not all the time, but far too much. Definitely a gripe I have with our teams/clubs.
@Kiwi_Investor@bambibristol Yeah I’m pretty partial to it, especially college football. Other countries do soccer better and I’d never deny that, but the whole “soulless bowl” argument doesn’t really make sense in the CFB sphere.
@B3rk3l3yHunt@DidIndianaW I mean I think that’s fair. I’ve been goin back and forth with yall the last 2 days, but I’d love to (and I’m planning on) going to a game at old trafford in the next year or two.
The issue is yall gatekeep them prem, and most hate any American who tries to get close.
@Kiwi_Investor@bambibristol Okay fair. At least you’re honest. I appreciate that. Tho I think most people know this is true, and are just bantering back and forth.
