With showing her and introducing her to this touchstone of American Musical theater and for trusting me to guide her to more. Basically, theater came back into my life in a very real way after being gone for awhile and it was just as welcoming as it had been the first time.

Last Friday I took my friend to see #SweenyTodd on #Broadway in celebration of my birthday. It was her first time ever seeing a Sondheim musical. Her first Sondheim. Since then she has texted me every day about clips, articles, and the possibility of going back to see it again 1/

I'm envious that this production of #Sweeny and #annaleighashford devouring the stage as Mrs. Lovett are her first Sondheim theater memories. And I cannot wait to join her on her journey to so many more. It's been years since she had seen a musical and she trusted me with this 5/
