@curlywurlyfi Hey! So lovely to hear from you. I thought of you too last week. Hope you had a good day? And yes, I am starting to settle here, which is good. You're welcome anytime! x
@SouthLondonGirl@gogibbogo But you wouldn’t be amongst the traffic, that’s the point. Your view is understandly based on using public transport and the routes that it follows. Having a bike means you can often completely avoid those. Obvs there are other cyclists but it’s different.
@SouthLondonGirl I think you should commit to doing this. The situation is going to last for over a year and you’re someone that likes to go places but you’ll need to limit public transport, both to protect others and because you’re mixed race - cycling would literally reduce your risk.
@SouthLondonGirl Up to Piccadilly. If you think you can get a bike I will work out the route for you and then we can do some test runs. I can also cycle in with you when you go back to work in case you want some support at the start.
@SouthLondonGirl@gogibbogo@London_Cycling There’d be a much better route than the OKR. Quieter and safer. I’m happy to ‘train’ you. Am doing the same with Claire, so she can cycle and avoid the bus.
@dotslondon @Phil_Sledge That's what I was going to ask too! Will you publicise this on Twitter or should we email you to register we want to volunteer?
@backhand Bloody hell. They're sat in a metal box with oil & fuel on board with the world on fire around them, yet he's just calmly saying "Jasper, put the blanket up". So much to rebuild after this but I hope these men and women are properly honoured for what they've had to face#NSWFires
@JolyonMaugham It's not your "misguided tweets" that will now 'inhibit' how you're viewed - it's the fact you willingly clubbed a fox to death. #JolyonTheFoxKiller And "I'll try to do better" couldn't be more disingenuous. I've donated to the GLP but needless to say I won't be doing so again.
@TimMcKenna5 I was in the Grand Place a few weeks ago and I saw a friendly man properly thatching the Nativity Hut in preparation. Such care. Hope those beers have hit the spot!
@TheLisaGiles @netflix I watched this tonight. Am stunned and also blown away by the brothers’ humanity and courage. And yes, so many questions. I wondered if Alex’s crash was really an accident. After everything that happened, was he trying to end it? A completely chilling world they were trapped in.
Completely gripped by #flirtydancing. Such a great idea, with lots of lovely people. How could you turn around to find Emmerson stood there and not burst out smiling?!
